Family Fun

We had a great weekend. Chris' sister, Jessica and her family came for the weekend from Colorado and his parents from Boise came too. It was great to see them all. It has probably been about a year since we saw his sister's family. I always like it when family comes, my house gets really clean!!! I tell ya, if anyone is planning on visiting, now is the time!!! Just come on by. Anyway, it was really fun. Jessica has two girls. One is 7 and the other one will be 2 in June. Alayna and Jaycee Lynn (the almost 2 y/o) loved playing together. Alayna would drag her around the house like she was some kind of doll!! It was really cute. I'll put some pictures below so you can see just how cute they are together. I forget just how nice it is to have family around until I have them here one minute and gone the next. Some days are tougher without family than others, but I know this is where we are suppose to be right now in our lives.
On another note, I am sooooooooooo sick of the snow!!! I can't believe that mother nature feels it acceptable to toy with our emotions like she does!!! However, I just walked outside a second ago and noticed that despite the freezing temperatures, my little yellow flowers have started to bloom!! It sure makes me all nice and warm and fuzzy, inside at least! Anywhoo, enjoy the pictures, I know I sure had a fun time watching it in real life.

The first picture is Alayna and Jaycee watching a movie. They weren't very happy that we got in their way to take a picture! The next one is the two of them in Laynee's room just playing with dolls, and the last one is the two of them going for a horse ride. Too bad the horse doesn't go anywhere...that ride didn't last for very long!!
Life is a gift that you should never stop enjoying!!!

  1. I agree, I'm sooooo sick of snow, and cold and mud and wind, well, the wind won't go away. But I would love to crack a window and fell a lovely breeze blow through, and I envy you have something growing out side!!
I have an idea, you're going to be stopping at the water fountains more oftern now, since little Miss Alayna has found out what they are!!
